Choose how you want your results to appear.

Output Format: The "Output Format" button lets you choose how you will see your results. Output as HTML will show you the results in a table, with the possibility of hyperlinks and graphing. It will also show you only a specific number of results at a time, speeding up the display. Output as Plain Text will show you all the results as ASCII text with the columns separated by some delimiter string. You can choose them to best suit your needs. This format is best if you wish to download your results to your computer.
Show which results: The "Show which results" button lets you choose whether you will see duplicate results. Imagine two rows that are identical in the first 3 fields and different in the last 2 fields. If you choose to only see the first 3 fields you will see two times the same row. In rare cases it may be usefull to see all rows including duplicate ones. For most cases you should be safe with the default, which shows only unique rows.
Field delimiter (text mode): You are searching the Commonground database in order to download some data onto your computer. The easiest way to do this, is to set the "Output Format" button to "Plain Text". The results will be displayed as ASCII text. To ease importing in data processing/storing software you can customize the delimiter between two fields. EXCEL is usually happy with the default "<tab>".
Results/screen: Specify the number of results per screen for HTML output.
